The Grammy-winning Afrobeats star releases his new single, “In My Feelings,” feat. French rapper Kalash. The track is from his upcoming Bully Season Vol. 2 EP.

Kel-P, the groundbreaking Afrobeats sensation, has just dropped his latest single, "In My Feelings," featuring French rapper Kalash, available now via Virgin Music France/Virgin Music US/Jones Worldwide. The track seamlessly blends Afrobeats and dancehall, captivating listeners with its infectious percussive energy and bilingual melodies in English and Creole. Kel-P and Kalash tantalize the audience with their smooth talk on the dance floor, portraying a vivid picture of what it's like to be in their presence. The accompanying music video, both sensual and edgy, captures the two star boys immersed in the art of seduction. "In My Feelings" is a sneak peek into the upcoming second volume of Kel-P's Bully Season EP series, promising a musical journey that transcends boundaries. Kel-P, previously recognized for his production work with acclaimed artists such as Burna Boy, Rema, Adekunle Gold, Davido, and Janelle Monaé, and a Grammy win for his collaboration with Angélique Kidjo, stepped into the spotlight as a performer in 2023 with the release of Bully Season Vol.1 EP. The EP's lead single, "One More Night," gained recognition as one of "The 40 Best Afropop Songs of 2023" by Rolling Stone, thanks to its unique interpretation of Nelly and Kelly Rowland's R&B hit "Dilemma." Crafted with the dancefloor and women in mind, the Bully Season EP series showcases Kel-P's prowess as a hitmaker.

Reflecting on his journey, Kel-P shared, "As a human, I feel I always had to bring out the Bully in me to shake the table and get what I want from life. This inspired the name as it’s the journey of my work ethic, my wins, my losses, my relationships, my life leading to this moment." Born a twin in Calabar, Kel-P faced early challenges, losing his mother at two years old. He and his brother relocated to Lagos, where Kel-P encountered his first musical mentor, Sarz, setting the stage for his colorful and dynamic sonic vision. Kel-P's breakthrough came with Solidstar's "Eleganza" in 2018, paving the way for collaborations with Burna Boy on hits like "On The Low," "Gbona," "Killin Dem," and "Pull Up" from the 2019 album African Giant. His impressive catalog expanded further with notable productions for Wizkid, Dadju, Jeje, Skip Marley, and Burna Boy, earning him a Grammy nomination for "Best Reggae Album" with Skip Marley's Higher Place. With his unmistakable tag, "It's Kel-P vibes," he became synonymous with transcendent hits. The accolades continued in 2022, with a Grammy win for Angélique Kidjo’s Mother Nature and a nomination for Wizkid's Made in Lagos: Deluxe Edition. Recognized as one of the hottest beatmakers in the Afrobeats global movement, Kel-P solidified his position with a memorable contribution to the Creed III soundtrack with "Blood, Sweat & Tears," nominated for this year's NAACP Awards. As Okayplayer predicted, "For beatmaker Kel-P, the road to royalty seems inevitable," and GRAMMY.com dubbed him "one of the hottest beat makers and producers in the Afrobeats global movement."
