Cash Kidd —Detroit’s punchline king— releases his highly anticipated album, BeBe Kidd 3, which is out today via EMPIRE. Including exciting collaborations like “Pop Warner,” which features fellow Detroit favorite Babyface Ray, and “Way 2 Cool,“ which features a rare posthumous verse from Drakeo The Ruler, the BeBe Kidd 3 album cements Cash Kidd’s legacy as one of Detroit’s elite lyricists. Even at his most serious, Cash Kidd injects his humor into every track, keeping the mood light while delivering bars that take multiple listens to digest. The 26-song album also includes standout features from E-40, Payroll Giovanni, BlueBucksClan, Bra’sha Taylor, Risktaker Dboy and 1Lil Nell. The album’s release marks the start of a new chapter for Cash Kidd who felt that the time was right for him to deliver a third installment in the album series that launched his career. “People deserve to hear what I'm going through. I ain't post in a minute; I'd rather give it to 'em through music,” he says. Cash Kidd's debut album was called Bebe Kidd, a reference to the 1992 film of a similar name and a term he uses to affectionately refer to his troublemaking younger self. After noticing parallels between his life then and now, Cash Kidd had to revisit the series.. “I'm here to motivate the Bébé's Kids—the problem child kids that think there's no escape. You don't have to do anything bad out there. Get your ass in the house, pick up a mic, and talk about your life.” He urges those to provide for themselves with a positive outlook. It is a character trait his spirit exudes. “I'd still be happy if I had none of this.” Stay tuned for the latest updates on Cash Kidd and stream his new album, BeBe Kidd 3, here.

Cash Kidd has also been teasing the new album by dropping music videos for his collaboration with LA rap duo BlueBucksClan “Insubordination,” the double entendre packed “Out The Way” and the album’s opening single “Kidd Next Door.”
Detroit rap mainstay, Cash Kidd, has become an unlikely hero amongst street rappers, inspiring countless artists with his endless flow of original bars. “People deserve to hear what I'm going through. I ain't post in a minute; I'd rather give it to 'em through music,” Cash Kidd says. Although he's almost ten years into his rap career, it wasn't until recently that he started to really embrace rap stardom. In the early days, coming up in Detroit's 6 Mile, Cash Kidd would take months between releases and used his spotlight for friends and peers. However, when he did share songs from his vault, the reactions were viral. Early videos like “On My Mama” and “Privileges” have generated tens of millions of views apiece on YouTube and Cash Kidd’s music has had an undying presence in the city ever since. Over the past few years however, Cash Kidd's creative output has gone into overdrive and new music has been released at a prolific pace. His No Socks mixtape series has been particularly popular and includes a star studded list of features including Sada Baby, 42 Dugg, Baby Tron, Rio Da Yung Og and Mozzy, to name a few. The No Socks single “Unappreciated” was named by Passion Of The Weiss as one of the best rap songs of the year in 2020 and Complex named Cash Kidd as one of “rap’s funniest, most quotable new artists.” Complex wrote, “I don’t know if I’ve heard that many creative punchlines in a row since mixtape-era Lil Wayne.” Cash Kidd’s wordplay has earned him a reputation as an elite rapper, always demonstrating a knack for uncompromising honesty in his music as he blends humor, pain, and reality into his lyrics. He appeared alongside Eminem on Big Sean’s chart-topping Detroit 2 and artists like Blueface and NoCap have named Cash Kidd as an inspiration.
