Dublin based Irish Designer Oisín Hunt presents his Spring / Summer '16 Collection
entitled "Seldom Seen" which is Oisín's first exploration into Womenswear alongside his continued endeavor in Menswear. This is Oisín's first experiment in blending Menswear and Womenswear to create a cohesive unisex collection. SS16 released today (04.04.16) and is now available online at www.dogeatdog.co

"SS16 is influenced by the lyrics and message portrayed in the music video to Chinatown by Thin Lizzy. In our opinion, this song is depicting the kids of Dublin City in the 1980's who had fallen into bad habits of drugs, alcohol and mindless sex. Chinatown as an "area" of Dublin would have been seen as a derelict, drug infested and trouble seekers heaven.

Everything in this set for the Lookbook are items similar to the music video. Burnt
wheels, pallets, trash and a broken trolley are all items which are predominantly filthy
and unusable. All of these items have been painted white to juxtapose their original
purpose. Aesthetically the purpose of exposing the ground and ceiling is to provide a "behind the scenes" look of the music video whereas the close ups provide the footage idea of the music video to Chinatown. The painted chromium grey denim, velvet tracksuits and white raw leather coat serve the purpose to further push you into the realm of 1980's Dublin City.

This seasons garments continue to push the equilibrium of chaos and order which is visible in our monochromatic looks as well as the sporadically painted light grey denim. Our garments are all unisex hence the pairing of both models as well as individual looks."
